Meu interesse pelo livro “A mala de Hana” surgiu ao ouvir o relato da professora Ednéia sobre a obra. Na medida em que ela contava alguns pontos do livro, senti em suas palavras, seus gestos uma emoção que inexplicavelmente me tocou, surgindo o interesse de conhecer essa história.

Ao ler o livro com os meus alunos, compreendi porque pessoas como Hana, George e Fumiko emocionaram milhões de leitores. “O holocausto visto no olhar das crianças” essa frase jamais saiu dos meus pensamentos. 

Trabalhar no projeto “Um Mundo Mais Tolerante” é colaborar com a maravilhosa luta iniciada por Fumiko Ishioka e sua determinação em tornar pública a emocionante história de Hana Brady.

My interest in the book "Hana's suitcase" came from hearing  the report of teacher Ednéia about it. As long as she told some points of the book, I felt in her  words, her  gestures an emotion that inexplicably touched me, emerging interest to read  that story.

When I was  reading the book with my students, I understood why people like Hana, George and Fumiko got emotioned millions of readers. "The Holocaust seen in the eyes of  children" that phrase never left my thoughts..  Work on the project "A More Tolerant World" is collaborating with the wonderful struggle initiated by Fumiko Ishioka and her determination to make public the exciting story of Hana Brady.

Eu me senti honrada e preocupada por ser convidada a participar deste projeto, o livro é fantástico. Tentar transmitir ao mundo o que pensamos é  muita responsabilidade. I felt honored and a litlle bit worried about the invitation was given to me . The book is really great and everybody knows that is not easy  to say the world what we really think, it's a huge responsability. I'm happy in seeing so many people engaged in the struglle against prejudice and wishing for a better world.

Logo que iniciei a leitura deste livro, senti que seria emocionante. Praticamente participei da história e por este motivo, em alguns momentos, me senti muito triste pela veracidade dos fatos; mas por outro lado, saber que existem pessoas como Fumiko Ishioka, que se dedicou em buscar a história real de Hana Brady, para envolver as crianças do "Pequenas Asas", anima educadores que se preocupam da mesma forma, em trazer para seus alunos uma leitura prazerosa.

Since I have started reading this book, I felt that would be exciting. I took part of it  practically and for this reason, at times I felt very sad  because the accuracy of the facts; however, on the other hand, to know that there are people in the world like Fumiko Ishioka, who dedicated herself to seek the true story of Hana Brady to engage  the “Small Wings's children, cheer educators up bringing to their students a pleasurable reading.

            História muito interessante e comovente, pois relata a vida de uma pessoa que presenciou o terrorismo ocorrido na 2ª Guerra Mundial, uma pessoa, uma simples criança que sofreu pela morte de seus familiares, pela solidão e pela sua própria morte. Um lado da guerra nunca visto, mas muito importante.

            The story was very interesting and touching cause tells the life of a girl that watched all the terrorism happened on the Second World War. A person, just a simple child that suffered for her parents murdering, loneliness and her own death. A different side from war that wasn´t seen but also important.

A história de Hana serve como um exemplo de vida, pois no livro conta como o destino de uma garotinha foi completamente mudado com a Guerra.

E por isso penso como o preconceito afeta a vida de muita gente em todo o mundo e aqui no Brasil.

Hana´s story is a example because the book tells how the life of a little girl could change so much by war.

            Um livro muito bom que chama a atenção pelos relatos fortes e reais de Hana e sua família durante a 2ª Guerra. Um livro que mostra como os judeus eram tratados pelos nazistas e seu sofrimento por esses atos maldosos.

Adorei fazer parte desse projeto, pois aumenta ainda mais a minha vontade de conhecer a história de Hana e a entender essa fase triste da história da humanidade.

A very good book that draws attention by strong and real stories of Hana and her family during World War II. A book that shows how Jews were treated by the Nazis and their suffering by nasty acts.

I loved being part of this project, as it increases even more my desire to know the story of Hana and for understanding such sad phase in the history of mankind.

Eu adorei o livro. Além de ser uma  história cativante e maravilhosa, conta sobre a Segunda Guerra Mundial com outro ponto de vista: aqueles que sofreram de verdade com a estupidez do homem ao praticar a guerra.

Através desse livro, pude conhecer o sofrimento de Hana e sua família e me emocionei com o desfecho dessa história marcante.

I loved the book. Besides being a Wonder ful and captivating story tells us about Second World War but in another point of view that came from who really suffered with stupidity of men when they practice war.

Through this book I could know Hana´s pain and her family and I was touched with the end of an outstanding story.

Matheus e Wallisson

Gostei bastante do livro. Emocionei-me com a história de Hana, vendo seu sofrimento e sua luta pela vida. Conheci uma realidade muito diferente da que eu vivo, onde as crianças perdem suas famílias e o direito à liberdade.

Através dessa história, percebi o quanto o homem pode ser irracional, chegando ao ponto de matar seus semelhantes.

I liked the book so much. I got touched by Hana´s story, by seeing her suffering and her struggle for life. I knew one reality very different from the life I live where children lose their families an their right fro freedom.

Through this book I realized how much man can be fool irrational, going so far as to kill other people.

     Eu gostei muito do livro porque ele conta uma história real. A história é muito importante porque quando estamos lendo parece que entramos na história e estamos participando dos acontecimentos.  

   Foi muito bom ler este livro e eu amei a história de Hana.

   I enjoyed the book because it tells a true story. The story is very important because when we are reading it seems that we enter the story and the events we are participating too.

O livro é muito bom, pois mostra uma história real, podemos ver o desespero de Hana, que na época era pequena, mas teve que superar tudo isso para tentar encontrar seu irmão, mas que no final infelizmente acaba morrendo tristemente junto com outras vítimas, mas ela também, é uma heroína.

The book is very good because everything in it really happened and we see the despair of Hana, who at that time was small, but had to overcome all that to try to find his brother, but in the end unfortunately died so sadly like the other victims, but she was also an heroin.

Um Mundo Mais Tolerante Através da Imagem A More Tolerant World Through the Picture

              "Um Mundo Mais Tolerante, através da imagem." Nos desenhos abaixo os alunos retratam os acontecimentos da Segunda Guerra Mundial, a história de Hana, e o horror do holocausto vivenciado pelos judeus. 
                  Lutar por um mundo menos desigual e mais justo é o objetivo desse projeto.

A more tolerant world through the picture. Students in the drawings below reflect  the events of the Second World War, the story of Hana and the horror of the Holocaust experienced  by Jews.

Fighting for a more rightful and tolerant world is the main goal of this project.
